Amateur Rules & Regulations

  • General Rules

    -Amateur events are sanctioned by DanceSport BC (DSBC) and will be run according to DSBC Bylaws and Rules. Syllabus events will be invigilated. WDSF events are sanctioned by the World DanceSport Federation and will be run according to its rules and regulations

    -Please refer to the DSBC website at www.dancesportbc.com for applicable rules and regulations.

    -Events will be cancelled or combined if there are insufficient entries. SnowBall Classic reserves the right to limit the number of couples in each event.

    -All competitors or their legal guardians must sign the waiver on the front of this form to be eligible to compete. Competitors under 19 years of age MUST have this release signed by a parent or legal guardian.

    Dress Regulations

    -Costuming rules will be strictly enforced and costumes may be inspected prior to each event. Please refer to the DSBC Dress Code by accessing the DSBC website at www.dancesportbc.com or the WDSF Dress Code at the WDSF website at http://www.worlddancesport.org/
